Having secured a scholarship to fund his ACCA studies and subsequently qualifying as an ACCA member in 1999 after four years of part-time studies, he left the Big Four International firms and worked as Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officers of several private and public listed companies for several years, before eventually, setting up his current company in 2007 and he named the company as a tribute to his scholarship donor, Max Lewis.

The journey wasn't without its share of challenges, especially in the initial stages when being a small business raised questions about credibility. Overcoming these doubts required strategic thinking, and fortunately, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic presented opportunities.
